Troubleshoot issues related to video playback and your LG G Pad F 7.0

This article helps you troubleshoot video playback issues on your LG G Pad F 7.0

You may have video playback issues if:

  • Videos do not start
  • Video pauses, stutters, or stops
  • Video controls stop functioning

These steps help identify and resolve the underlying cause. After completing each step, test to see if the issue is fixed. If not, continue to the next step.

  1. Change the connection type.

If connected to the Boost network, connect to a Wi-Fi network. If connected to a Wi-Fi network, turn Wi-Fi Off to connect to the Boost network.

  2. Perform a soft reset.

A soft reset closes all applications, clears temporary files from the memory, and reconnects your LG G Pad F 7.0 to the Wi-Fi or Sprint network.

    1. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down keys until the phone turns off.
    2. Hold the keys down till the LG splash screen appears
    3. Release the keys and the phone will restart.
  3. Clear the application cache.

Clearing the app cache will remove temporary files from the application that may be preventing proper playback.

  4. Verify that your LG G Pad F 7.0 is running the most recent software.

Software updates include enhancement and fixes that can help resolve video playback issues. Check for software updates to be sure your LG G Pad F 7.0 is running the most recent device software.
