From the home screen, use two fingers to tap and drag down the Status bar.
Tap the Settings icon.
Note: If the phone has been previously paired with another bluetooth device, to turn bluetooth On or Off, tap the Bluetooth icon. Bluetooth is white when turned On.
If Off, tap the Bluetooth slider to On.
Note: If Bluetooth is already enabled, skip this step.
The handset will automatically be visible for pairing. If initiating the pairing from the Bluetooth device, follow the steps per the Bluetooth device's user manual.
If initiating the pairing from the handset, ensure the Bluetooth device is on and set to discoverable or pairing mode.
The handset will automatically scan for devices in pairing mode. Once the scan is complete, tap the name of the preferred Bluetooth device.
Note: Refer to the Bluetooth device's user manual for specific pairing requirements.
If a Bluetooth pairing request appears, verify the passicon is the same on both devices and tap PAIR.
If required, enter the passkey and tap OK.
Note: The default passkey for most Bluetooth headsets is 0000 or 1234. Other devices may have other requirements. Refer to the Bluetooth device's user manual for device specific requirements.
Check both the handset and the Bluetooth device for any prompts, and if required, enter the passicon on the device(s).
The Bluetooth device is now paired.
