Activate the Device via iTunes
  1. To turn the phone on, press and hold the Power key.

  2. Swipe the screen to the right.

  3. Tap the preferred language.

  4. Tap the preferred country.

  5. Tap Connect to iTunes.

    Note: If Use Cellular Connection is displayed, the device can be activated using the cellular network.

    If prompted to continue without Wi-Fi, tap the preferred option.

  6. Connect the iPhone to the computer using the supplied USB cable.

  7. Once the iPhone is connected, the iTunes application will open automatically.

    The first time the iPhone is connected to iTunes, a welcome screen is displayed. Click Continue.

    If this is not the first time connecting to iTunes, click the preferred setup option, then click Continue.

  8. Click Get Started.

  9. If needed, adjust the sync options as needed, then click Sync.

    A backup will be created in iTunes automatically. Once the initial backup is complete, unplug the iPhone from the computer.

  10. Tap the preferred Location Services option.

  11. Tap Set Up as New iPhone.

  12. Enter the Apple ID and Password then tap Next.

  13. Read the terms and conditions and tap Agree.

  14. Tap Agree.

  15. To create a passcode, enter a four digit passcode.

  16. Re-enter the passcode to confirm.

  17. iCloud Keychain is a convenient way to be able to store passwords and credit card information on approved devices.

    To enable the Keychain feature, tap Continue.

    To continue without enabling Keychain, tap Don't Use iCloud Keychain. If iCloud was not enabled previously, the iCloud Keychain steps are not displayed.

  18. Tap the preferred Siri set up option.

  19. Tap the preferred Diagnostics option.

  20. Tap Get Started.

  21. The phone is now ready for use.
