Troubleshoot charging issues on your ZTE Warp Elite

This article helps troubleshoot charging issues on your ZTE Warp Elite

You may have charging issues if your ZTE Warp Elite™

  • Doesn't charge
  • Charges slowly

Try each of these steps if your phone has charging issues.

  1. Verify that your phone and charging port are not damaged.

    1. Carefully inspect your phone to be sure it's not overheating, swollen or damaged.
    2. Carefully inspect your phone's charging port and remove any debris.

    Caution: If your phone is damaged, do not complete the remaining steps in this guide. Please contact Boost Customer Care.

  2. Verify that your ZTE Warp Elite can power on.

    1. Turn your phone on.
  3. Verify that your charger is working properly.

    Note: You risk severe damage to your phone if the charger isn't the same voltage, amps, and plug type as your original charger. You can purchase compatible chargers on boostmobile.com.

    1. Connect your phone to your charger.
    2. From the home screen, tap Boost Zone.
    3. Swipe to the left to open Device Diagnostics.
    4. Tap Battery Status.
    5. Verify that the battery status is Charging.
  4. Verify that your ZTE Warp Elite is running the most recent software.

    1. From within Boost Zone, swipe to the left to open Device Diagnostics.
    2. Tap System Updates.
    3. Tap Device Software.
      • If an update is available, follow the prompts to install.
  5. Safely remove your SD card.

    1. From the home screen, tap the All Apps icon.
    2. Scroll to and tap Settings.
    3. Scroll to and tap Storage.
    4. Scroll to and tap Unmount SD card.
    5. Tap OK.
    6. Remove the SD card.
  6. Perform a soft reset.

    A soft reset restarts your phone and does not erase any of your content or data.

    1. Press and hold the Power key for 10 seconds.
    2. When the screen goes dark and the ZTE splash screen appears, release the Power key.
