Pair with a Bluetooth Device
  1. From the home screen, swipe down the Notification bar.

  2. Tap and hold the Bluetooth icon.

  3. If necessary, tap the Bluetooth switch to ON.

Note: If a Bluetooth tutorial prompt appears, tap the preferred option.

  4. If initiating the pairing from the Bluetooth device, tap the handset name and follow the steps per the Bluetooth device's user manual.

If initiating the pairing from the handset, ensure the Bluetooth device is on and set to discoverable or pairing mode.

The handset will search for available Bluetooth devices in range automatically. Once the search is complete, tap the preferred device.

Note: If the device is not found, tap Search for devices to perform another search.

Refer to the Bluetooth device's user manual for specific pairing requirements.

  5. If a Bluetooth pairing request appears, verify that the passkey for both devices is the same, then tap Pair.

Note: The default passkey for most Bluetooth headsets is 0000 or 1234. Other devices may have other requirements. Refer to the Bluetooth device's user manual for device specific requirements.

Check both the handset and the Bluetooth device for any prompts, and if required, enter the required PIN and tap Pair.

  6. The Bluetooth device is now paired.
