  2. From the home screen, swipe down the Notification and tap USB connected.

  3. Tap to select Media device (MTP).

  4. On the computer, if an AutoPlay window appears, click Open device to view files.

Note: If an AutoPlay window does not appear, from the Start menu on the computer, click Computer, then double-click the device name under Portable Devices.

  5. Double click the storage location.

  6. Drag and drop files into the appropriate folders and/or sub-folders as preferred.

Note: Music files are typically stored in a folder titled Music.

Photos and Videos captured with the handset camera are typically stored in a folder titled DCIM.

3rd Party applications may store photos in different locations. Consult the application's support website or contact the developer for further assistance.

  7. Once the file transfer is complete, disconnect the USB cable.

    The files are now transferred.
