The Hands Free Activation process will begin automatically. Once the device is activated, tap OK.
The device will update the PRL.
To change the default language setting, tap English and select the preferred option.
Tap ACCESSIBILITY to view and enable the device accessibility options.
Tap NEXT to continue the initial set up without connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
To connect to a Wi-Fi network, tap the preferred network.
If required, enter the network Password and tap CONNECT.
Review the End User License Agreement, tap the checkbox.
Review the data consent and tap the preferred option.
A Google account is required to access a variety of Google services or to purchase and download content from the Play Store.
To skip this step, tap SKIP.
To create a new Google account, tapOR CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT.
To log in to an existing Google account, enter the email address, then tap NEXT.
Note:A Gmail address is considered a Google account. To skip this step, tap SKIP, then tap SKIP ANYWAYSand follow the rest of the steps.
Enter the account Password, then tap NEXT.
Choose billing options if have. Else tap CONTINUE.
If you want to another email address, you can add it.
Tap Not now.
If available, tap the preferred backup fromRestore from these devices.
Tap Dont restore.
A Samsung account allows access to Samsung services.
Tap SIGN UP WITH GOOGLE ID to create an account using the Google email account information.
Tap CREATE ACCOUNT to create a new account using a different email address.
Tap SIGN IN to sign into an existing account.
Tap SKIP to skip this step.
A Samsung account allows Protect your device.
Tap No to skip this step.
Reactivation locklets you use your Samsung account to prevent others from activating your device if it's ever lost or stolen. With Reactivation lock turned on, you will be required to enter your Samsung account credentials prior to starting a factory reset of the device.
To activate this service, tap to check Turn on the activation lock, then tap NEXT and follow the prompts to Sign in with an existing Samsung account or create a new one.
To skip this step, tap NEXT.
Note:This feature is not the same as Lock screen, which is the password, PIN code, or other method used to unlock your device when it has been turned off or inactive.
Dropbox is a cloud based service that may be used to automatically backup or share photos and videos with others or to synchronize files between the handset and a computer.
Tap CREATE ACCOUNT to set up a new Dropbox account or tap SIGN IN to log into an existing account.
Note:To continue without setting up an account, tap SKIP.
Enter the Email and Password for the Dropbox account, then tap Sign in.
Tap Allow to grant permission for the device to access the Dropbox account.
Enter a name for the device and tap FINISH.
Note:If prompted to update the Samsung account, tap the preferred option.
Read the Connections Optimizer message, then tap I AGREE.
After the Sprint Mobile ID installation is completed, tap OK.
The device is now set up and ready for use.
